Ortas / Cave de Rasteau Rasteau Fleurs et Fruits

Very good QPR on this wine. It's got a great fruit profile and is just very smooth and easy to drink.

Last bottle. Garnet red. Nose of 'fleshy' flowers: rose, freesias with an edge of lavender and (?) gardenia and a little leather in there for the tannin. A medium-bodied Rasteau with licquorice, tobacco, leather, pepper and some of the floral notes mentioned above. A cuvee for early drinking. Pleasantly above average without being very serious.
