The color is ruby red. The nose is quite powerful and elegant, with notes of blackcurrant, blueberry, raspberry, subtle oak, and a hint of alcohol. On the palate, it is very fresh, crisp, and fruity, with very fine tannins. It has a long finish. There is no doubt that this bottle would benefit from being aged for a few more years.
