Disgorged 22 October 2021. This was a very tasty modern style grower Champagne - ripe pinot noir fruit, zero dosage, no oxidative character. While it will no doubt improve, it's easy to enjoy now.

Bottle 414 of 1202. Disgorged 22Oct21 without dosage. The fruit has picked up lots of richness and sweetness since my last bottle. Loads of super ripe Anjou pear with the crispness of a bit of Granny Smith apple, with the slight sour note/acid coming into focus late. No need to wait on this, really good now.

Lemon juice, lime juice, ripe yellow apple, ripe pear, ripe apricot, coconut flakes, butterscotch and fried dough on the nose. The palate adds ripe green melon, toasted almonds, fresh mint and cheese rind, keeping the tree fruit and citrus. Intensity of both flavors and aromas is medium +. There are some yeasty notes on this; but nothing I would really describe as "bready" which is interesting. More nutty and creamy. Good long finish centered on the fruit. Medium + body …

100% Pinot noir disgorged without dosage on 22Oct21. Bottle 413/1202. Second bottle of this, but been quite awhile. Round mouthfeel is the first thought, a hint of vanilla, lemon tart, green pear, little bit of “texture” in the acid on the finish. Drank this at the beach on a warm day and it really hit the spot.

1202 bottle production, bottle 368. Disgorged 22Oct21 without dosage. Wonderful pear and brioche nose. Full up front orchard fruit, mostly red apple, some acid on the finish, a bit of stewed red apple keeping the theme. This is really full of good flavor, showing well at a young age, and a really good sign of things to come. I’ll continue to search out these wines.
