Dense, extracted and very concentrated nose with somewhat evolved aromas of wizened black cherries, sweet chocolatey oak, some ripe blackcurrant tones, a little bit of savory wood spice, light boozy notes of alcohol, a hint of blueberry and a touch of pipe tobacco. Dark fruit, coffee, leather and tobacco on the nose. Good intensity and complexity. Full bodied with grippy tannins. Nice and long blueberry pie finish.
