I was a little disappointed with this - possibly caught it in a slightly dumb phase - the fruit was neither especially expressive nor profound: on the one hand, lacking the delicate florality one might hope for from a commune reputed for less tannic wines; on the other, not so intense and long you imagine it might go somewhere sublime in 10 years. Wow. Stunning dark fruits, long finish, even without decanting. One of the classiest Barolos I've had.

Nebbiolo : 24 mesi di rovere di slavonia. Bella balsamicità di spezie, poi mineralità di sale, giglio, fiori amari. Abbastanza scorrevole e leggero in bocca, molto beverino, tannino al posto giusto.
