Gorgeously saturating aromas of blackberry compote, prune, blueberry, black licorice, and star anise. Is medium bodied with finely grained tannin and sweet juicy acid. The balance is near perfect and seamless. Flavors include blackberry, blueberry, violet, fresh fennel frond, graphite, and black pepper. It’s far from thin but I do get the sense this is starting to shed a bit of weight. I have bottle left and I think I’ll open it soon. I love this wine.

Aromatic black raspberry juice, subdued cherry and mixed fruit jam. Fresh acid gives this wine a wonderful brightness.
