Some bricking. Nose is a little hot, slightly raisiny. Not much in the body. Short finish with very fine mouthfrying tannins that remain.

High on alcohol, 14%. Falling apart and this last bottle was rather flat.

Now, it's really nice after 4 years in the cellar. The nebbiolo has developed very nice, still a few tannins but minerality and freshness is on the top with a somewhat stony and meaty body, might be dependent on the rather high alcohol level. This is a good value for money Barolo, I think it can rest another 5 -7 year's on the bottle. The palate is a bit "tight" still but I assume, e it get better over time. On the nose very nice complexity with leather and herbs. Works well with a parmesan cheese sause, Owen grilled potatoes like rösti and green salad. Warm, initially strong tannins and corresponding bitter/sour tastes that resolve with a fair amount of decanting. Limited complexity but pleasant.
