Purchased this bottle in 2021. Ripe, rich apple and malty black bread, a sweet note like candied grapefruit. There’s good acidity and mouthfeel but a few grams less sugar wouldn’t hurt this and alcohol tastes higher than 12%.

From a bottle purchased winter 2018 and properly stored since: this bottle was quite good, with a lot of yeasty/bready/autolytic character, some roundness from age but no oxidative flavors.

Good and characteristic BdB that is uncomplicated, yet offering great value for money. Pale yellow. Apples on the nose. Crisp green apples and a fine mousse. Great balance between the fruit intensity and acidity. Limited complexity and length.
