Decanted for 30 minutes. Deep purple color. Not much aroma. Concentrated, intense blackberry flavor with spice and astringent tannins. Clearly well-made, quality pinot noir but it did not come together in a way that was enjoyable to me. Perhaps it needs more time or a longer decant.

Tasted on day 2. Floral notes on the nose. Round cranberry fruit. Some crunch kicks in the mid palate. Nice balance. Some black tea. Medium plus finish. Drinking nicely but still plenty of life.

Decanted two hours, an hour after opening. Served low 60's F Bright, translucent on decanting. Earth and sour cherry on nose, continuing, long, onto palate. Tannins, acidity, generate an appealing balance: at 13.2% abv (possibly understated). A gem of a food wine

Nice earthiness. Bright red fruits on the palate. Very smooth as the tannins and acid were well integrated. Nice balance. Long finish.
