RayLen Carolinius

This was a blend from a North Carolinian winery that was being showcased in the restaurant yesterday evening. We were lucky to get the last bottle. Surprisingly, the wine reminded me of a new Beaujolais with it's garnet color and medium legs. There was no sediment in the bottle. The aroma was like tea and the taste was earthy.
