Both my husband and I found this wine to be too young at best and just not that great at worst. Drinkable but not wonderful. For the record, the bottle MAY have been defective.

Jammy, strong nose of plum and other dark fruit (the best part of it); but, no tension, no acidity. I am perplexed by other reviews that called this light? Huh; were we drinking the same thing? Better than I had expected, but nothing special. Good for strong flavored, meat based entree - or for cooking. If you have unopened bottles, now's the time to pop and pour. Rated 0 on a scale of -1 to 3.

Light ruby red with light aromas of red berry. It was light to medium bodied Merlot with some red berry flavor....a little flat overall. The finish was short.

Very light cranberry red in color, this wine revealed almost nothing on the nose except for a little currant and some saddle leather. The mouth feel was frightfully light with almost no tannins and an obscure level of fruit. The finish was short with no added notes. Purchased for $9.99US, this was a disapointment. Who is this wine made for?
