This is not necessarily my style by taste , but you have to give some appreciation for what is in the glass. Very dark and obviously concentrated. The nose to me says "blend" right away. What I did not like was the smoky tones, which transferred to the palate. I think this is medium-heavy, to heavy toast oak barrels, which sort of spoils what started out as a nice blueberry fruit component. Nice medium-heavy bodied mouthfeel. Very balanced acidity which …
