Spindrift Cellars Pinot Noir Bovine Vineyards

I can't help but think the earlier reviewers opened their bottles too soon. This thing was phenomenal. Herbs and pekoe black tea, cherry backdrop, perfect balance - this was excellent. A joy with pork-chops no less than with pizza. Great QPR to boot!

I give the same score as "EWISOR". I like the wine, but it is certainly lacking in complexity, and I think its light berry flavors andminimal length on the palate disappoint. Not a lot going on here. Better for a meal of leftovers.

Popped and poured. Drank over 3 evenings. Decanted first glass. Young and vibrant initially. Improved significantly on the 2nd evening, showing darker fruits and moderate complexity. Showed some signs of oxidation on the 3rd evening. A solid wine with more body than the previous vintage. This wine will also benefit from a few years of cellar time. Well done!
