Nuraghe Crabioni Vermentino di Sardegna

Sardinian Vermentinos are among my go-to white wines. I like to pour them for "Vermentino virgins" — e.g., wine lovers who may be red-heads or are simply not acquainted with lesser-known white varietals or wine regions. This one surely measures up. A bit unfamiliar in the nose with its rocky, restrained, dried-herb nose, but surprises with its mouth-filling flavors. The perfect match for Mediterranean seafood.
