Paraiso Vineyards Pinot Noir Fay Feather Blanc de Noir Santa Lucia Highlands

Bumping my previous score from a tasting event bottle that had been opened for a while to this new fresh bottle. Notes regarding flavor profiles remain.

Nice acidity. It’s easy to smell the carbonation. Orange and some floral flavors on the palate. Body - 2 Sweetness - 2 Tannin - 1 Acidity - 4 Alcohol - 2 Finish - 3 Held up well for 2 hours after opening.

Amber color, served from an open tasting bottle without a proper stopper so hard to judge the bubbles. Nose is nice and bready to pique excitement before the palate. Green apple, peach & nectarine are nice notes on the palate but would like a little more mineral or brioche to give it a kick. Tasted at Tunes, Trucks & Tastes hosted by Paraiso

This wine is just an incomplete wine for me. It is an unfinished blending wine in my opinion. The cherry, raspberry nose & fruit forward nose/taste finishes short with very little lingering. I also found the wine too acidic for my tastes. I love Paraiso wines in general but this is not one of them.

Tasting room pour. Rich buttery fruit with good overall balance and a decent finish. Good.

Nice vanilla and oak scent. Lovely stone fruit and vanilla flavor. Just a touch of butter. Really nice for a chard
