Ossian, Capitel, Castilla y Leon

Very rich and concentrated. Still good freshness and bright acidity. Alas my last bottle.

Served to me blind. Very fresh, dense yet elegant. Distinct oak notes. VERY good. Surprising that it was so young. My guess was Californian Chardonnay - but that was way off :)

Medium yellow color. Full-throttle nose with yellow plum, gooseberry, fennel, butter, oak and a mineral touch. Wildly intense on the palate with layers of white fruit, gooseberry, elder flower, white flowers and chamomile the. Very exciting midpalate with a creamy, oak texture and notes of caramel and burned sugar. The fruit stretches all the way on to the finish where it is joined by butter and nuts. Very powerful and concentrated white.
