With some rich oak on it. Good definition, maybr a bit over done?

Deep straw in color with gold reflections. Aromas are full and complex on the attack with scents showing off layers of butterscotch, toffee, toasted almond and brioche with honeysuckle, acacia flower, yellow apple, pear, lemon curd, baking spice, fleur de sel, and toasted oak stave. The palate shows the evolution and maturation of this wine (in a good way), but remains focused and balanced with lively and precise acidity along with moderate weight and alcohol on the palate. Flavors show …

Not the same as last time. Too oaky...and oak is not what I like in a chard.

big and boisterous. A fun, well made wine, but not elegant. Full bodied and powerful. Expansive palate. Good acid.

Still drinking well and the acid keeps it together, but it's probably peaking. The complexity is great, but some rough edges are starting to show. PDQ92

A big new world Chardonnay, but in a good way. The oak is in balance, intense fruit, lush, and there is a good balance with acidity to prop it up. Good example, although high price. Recommended though.

Definitely the best WA chardonnay I've ever had; maybe the best ever.

Wonderful wine continues to impress as what has been the best chard in WA state for some time. Great food wine in the new world style with. Big and round from clear Malo. Minerality. Lacks the magic of some of the better Cali Chards, but still very nice. Priced to high to argue as a value wine, but any chard lover who wants to see what WA has to offer. Pressure from makers like Maison Bleue (acids and old world) …

Urban Enoteca (Seattle, WA) : 2008 Cote Bonneville Chardonnay. This wine is huge and one of the favorites of the night. Not a dry Chard., had a pleasant and balanced sweetness along with an explosive floral bouquet. Found the palate a cornucopia of flavors from exotic fruit, some honey and delectable creamy texture. Bravo!

Big ripe wine - really needs some chill to take out the alcohol - but this has nice balance once you get over the heat. Lemony, no apparent oak and a complex, lingering finish. If it could knock the alcohol down by 2% then this would be superb.

Big serious chard. Best of Washington chards. Big body, clearly through malo. Really pretty. Great paring with a apple cheddar bisque.
