Exceptional drinking right now. Years left ahead of it. Wish i had more. Pure loire cab franc. More red fruits than herbal/vegetal but no mistaking the varietal. Great producer.

Medium red. Leafy aromatics. Lean, firm, high acid wine. Some bitter cherry, chocolate and tobacco emerge as it warms up. Dry, slightly gritty tannins. No tip of the cap to the ripeness of the vintage whatsoever; this is a dry, classic Loire red which just touches the boundary of being too austere.

Terrior driven.. and structured!!! Surprising acid, slightly drying tannins... Dusty, earthy tobacco, loam, mineral, spicy, cigar box, sweet dried black cherries... clearly Loire Cab Franc.. Love it!
