A private lunch with family (Restaurant Pastis, Rosmalen, NL) : Magnum. Fresh and zesty nose, yeasty notes from the lees ageing, just a hint of wood (one third fermented and aged for three months in used French Allier oak, two thirds in steel and concrete egg), creamy and rounded palate, ripe orchard fruit and pineapple, good length.

100% Verdejo 2010. Straw yellow with a touch of green. Strong citrus nose with a touch of honey and oak. Nice, full-bodied, excellent acidity on the finish. Sipping nicely. This luvly young lady is a cheap 'n cheerful winner!!!

Bright yellow, very aromatic with a touch of oak, this Verdejo from vines planted around the sleepy town of Valladolid is true to its nature as an adventurous. not bound by tradition wine. Fresh, elegant and full-bodied, this luvly young lady was the super surprise of the evening and cheap as chips. A winner!!!

Drank in Iberica Very different with a lot of complex fruit in the nose. Nice balanced palate with a medium length.
