Delicious and bold, the wine was decanted for an hour and there was a bit of a spice to go along with the strong deep fruit flavors. Definitely can age but delicious now!

This hasn’t budged an inch from my 6/21/2017 note. This time slow-oxed for two hours then into wide-bottomed decanter. Needs time. Several more years at least.

PNP decant; minimal sediment. Deep brilliant ruby, medium viscosity. Juicy nose of fruit, chocolate, and spice, but delicate. Palate carries through, very long finish, super finegrained tannin. Two hours after poured back in bottle: huge powerful nose and enormous mouthfeel. With intense mocha and tannin that build through the finish. The finish is like still have the wine in your mouth a minute or two later. Immense wine. Good now but hold; big upside with the wait.
