Very, very sweet. Tropical fruits and botrytis by the truckload. Almost oily mouthfeel. Would have wished for more acidity but a very nice wine to salty cheese.

Chardonnay Shootout: Burgundy vs New World, Double Blind (Booth One - Chicago IL) : Baked apple, dried apricot with vanilla and sweet spice. Good+ weight and length, with just slight hints of complexity. Good+ now with a long life going forward.

Dark amber meets light orange in color. Orange, apricot, honey flavors. A nice wine, but very sweet and to my taste a bit lacking in matching acidity. Medium long finish. Drank soon after opening so it might improve with a decant.

Yes, same bottle a week plus later and even better. Tasted twice over the week. I think it reached a peak after 5-6 days of slow decant (at low temp) Previous notes apply. Great amber color.

Great amber color, wonderful nose but it opens only after few days. I would say hold or give it a very long decant time (long==days) Agree with previous notes on the peach and marzipan notes. Very sweet until day 3 or so. Excellent dessert wine and indeed, no rush to open up or drink. Current CT AVG (93.4) is a good reflection after few days. From PnP it will be 2-3 pts lower)

Notes of lavender and honeysuckle on the nose. Fresh apricot and honey on the palate. Consistent experience across three bottles.

Kracher are always mind-blowing, with 98s being among my favorite. A cornucopia of marmalade, peach, marzipan, with hints of clove. Wonderful on days 1-3; fantastic on day 4. No need to drink up, as this can hold for at least another 10 yrs.

Drank with creme brulee and matches the caramell coated vanilla perfect! complex nose with fantastic raisins, figs and sticky flowers all over the place.. a tad less oily than two years ago, but very much the same in the mouth with a lingering and long finish that goes on and on.. suits the wiener philharmoniker! would love to go even higher on the marks, but with some rare wines from mosel and saar down the memory lane last year this …

For us with a sweet tooth, this is great stuff! Thick viscosity, oily and smooth. You could drink it drop by drop! Since it is so concentrated every zip last for a very looong time. A deep deep amber/golden/mahogny like colour. Smells of what it is, drops of nectar from dried fruit like , pineapple - lychee - apricots - melted brown canesugar on a fresh creme brulee. In the mouth it follows same patterns, the sweetness is rather intense, …

Honey, pineapple and white peaches. Moderately sweet without overwhelming. To be critical, it lacks some integration. Drank great with fruit and cheese of course. Went bad 2 days after opening which was a little surprising.

Very nice. It has tighten up a bit in the last couple of years without losing the ripe tropical fruit that is the calling card of this wine.

A beautiful, tropical nose of smoky poached pears and apricots becomes ponderous on the palate for lack of acidity. As usual, a Kracher that approximates a Michael Bay movie; you are going to enjoy yourself, but leave no wiser.

This is absolutely stunning right now. Loads of tropical and floral notes. Perfect acidity. Long finish that is wonderfully sweet without being cloying.

Dinner at Rue Cler with Steve, Barb & Bill H. Orange is the theme on this wine - orange/amber in colorand loads of orange sensations on the nose. Clearly botrytis influenced and showing that in spades at the moment. Clearly sweet but not cloying. Long finish. 50+13+12+8+8 = 91

Tried this at LostVerse's house. It had been opened for a few days (maybe a week or more). Still holding up very well although it may have lost a little something in that time. Tropical and good concentration. 92-93 points.

Eight wines and eight courses.... (Cafe Jorge "Mi Casa") : A beautiful and light sense of a darkened gold in color, with a delightful floral essence backed by candied and ripe fruit. Delicious elegance that was rich, but not over the top, with a nice acidic balance and a light grip that had a generous hang time on the end. A nice finish with a: Cabernet Sauvignon Poached Pear with Saigon Cinnamon and Tahitian Vanilla Bean infused Mascarpone Cream...and a …

I brought this to Otis' CDP and was not disappointed. Lovely mouthfeel that coated the insides like fine cream. Loads of candied fruits and floral notes that went on and on. This wine struck me as remarkably youthful both in appearance and taste. Glad to have 3 more to hold for some years.

Dinner at Zely & Ritz with Dale & Alisha. Bright copper in color, this was well integrated with raisins, apricots and honey and a very long finish. Perfect with the apple and caramel based dessert Sarig created for us. 50+12+12+8+8 = 90
