Prime Solum Cabernet Sauvignon Circle R Vineyard

Light purple and soft ruby Nose: licorice, tobacco, and mint/menthol. Strawberry, vanilla, leather. Pretty heavy body, super smooth, smoky and a little spicy. Tannins are definitely there with a smoky cigar finish. Earthy with fruit there but more of a background player. Dark chocolate dryness and bitterness. Really good wine that will be interesting to experience throughout the different phases. Fruit is mellow but tannins and secondary/tertiary flavors are strong.
