Koehler-Ruprecht Chardonnay Kabinett trocken

Is that soy sauce on the nose? Definitely something savory, some mushroom and dusty clay character, something toasted, some lemon peel and candlewax. Medium body, with a lot of savory notes and canned pear and a pleasant salinity. Not sure how I feel here, but I think the craft is there. Maybe just a bit too savory, and I’m definitely missing some acidity that I think would elevate and brighten the wine.
