I tasted this after a few hours after being opened. In Appearance, the wine was clear and a medium garnet with thin, but long and persistent legs. The Nose was clean and developing with medium intensity and aromas of red and dark fruits like raspberry and black cherry. Not overly complex here, but there was some notes of cedar and tobacco. '05 was a fabulous year for Bordeaux and it is starting to show greatness even amongst the more mundane wines of the region. Still, this is a Cru Bourgeois, so don't go crazy waiting for this thing to bloom. Go for it now or in the near future.

Fruity earthy well balanced wine. I enjoyed this so much! Young with legs to last a long time yet quite approachaboe today. I will hold on to the the other bottle for awhile. Great bordeaux for $20.
