Good. It took a while for the nose to start to appear. I should have decanted this for a fair amount of time. Once the nose got going, it was showing very ripe, almost stewed red berries and plums. The oak is also rather present. Fortunately, the palate is very lively. The fruit is present and accompanied by a very nice streak of acidity and grippy tanins. Deep ruby red, rather consistent, had developped some depot - Quite a strong and complex nose with red fruits, earthy and leathery elements - Full bodied, tannins nicely softened, but some remaining, dry and balanced, medium descent, ripe and ready. A bottle without faults. Excellent wine!

Drink with a steak over 2hrs. Really good, a bit short, but very balance.

A bright, floral, fragrant, very deep red fruits nose; almost raisiny-curranty. Lovely palate. Rich and very concentrated, tending to sweetness.
