Color: Black pitch with a bit of purple tinge on the edges. No translucency - very typical for chambourcin. Nose: white pepper is prevalent and appreciated. Flavor: tart fruit - grapefruit comes to mind - with a bit of seltzer fizz and white pepper all hit the tongue almost immediately.
