Not much happening on the nose with moderate aromatic intensity of wet wool, flowers & quince. Oily and very intense on the palate but somehow overprefumed. Middleweight with balancing acidty. For early drinking.

Lemogreen in color with a fresh nose pungent nose redolent with floral aromas, pear and tropical fruit like melon. Also notes of mastic are present. Medium bodied and quite oily with a palate of fresh tropical fruit like melon and a finish reminiscent of turkish delight along with a pleasing bitterness. A fresh clean and very enjoyable wine.

Malagouzia Wine Tasting (Le Petit Sommelier Restaurant, Athens, Greece) : Medium lemon-like yellow green. Tropical fruits like pineapple, mellon and floral scents on the nose. Medium-bodied, refreshing with sufficient acidity and a medium, floral aftertaste. Drink now to 2013.

Malagouzia tasing @ Le Petit Sommelier. Light lemon. Lemon blossom, pears & melons. Medium body with an oily feel. Medium + persistent acidity. Medium + finish. Palate has ripe citrus fruit with a hint of mastic gum and even brine. There's also Florina peppers rather than the green peppers sometimes found in the variety.

Oinorama Wine Fair 2012; 3/17/2012-3/18/2012 : (tasted at oinorama) The wine was far too warm to try but I gave it a go. Quite herbal in a refreshing way, nice acidity with just a hint of sweetness at the tip of the tongue. It could be nice to drink on a hot summer
