Consistent with my last note almost a year ago, except even slightly better. Some black currant coming in along with blackberry and a bit of a eucalyptus note. Beautifully integrated and drinking well.

No detailed notes. Why the 95 rating? Because for me, a really good Napa cab will generally start at 92 or so points. Corra scores higher because of a wildly aromatic nose, and a sense of balance on the palate that wasn't always common in that Parker-fueled era.

Later night pnp and enjoyed over 2 hours. Dark red fruit....excellent weight in the mouth. Good on its own without food, too. Wish I had more descriptors but I don't. It's the 3rd or 4th bottle of the night with the HMCs.......

At this point in the evolution of this wine, it has a lot of coffee notes, and the fruit is dark and brooding. Fun to drink after my buddy brought a young Spring Mountain, which was bright and happy and slightly tanic. This would be great with steak. We paired with prosciutto and cheese breaking in my new wine cellar and planning our great annual Labor Day camping feast.

Very drinkable at this stage - nice aroma, good fruit, subdued wood, enough acidity, smooth and lingering flavor - after a relatively short decant. Drank on its own after dinner. Will be great with a meal. Really enjoy Corra wines.

Delish!! Needed something familiar and satisfying tonight with my dry aged ribeye so dug into the cellar for this wine. It's thrown quite a bit of sediment so removed it in the bottle around the cork and decanted carefully. Very tight when first opened, but after some swirling (3 hours) in the wide decanter, it started to give exactly what we expect, fabulous rich but lip smacking juicy cab. Wonderful nose with notes of peppermint and red licorice. Very balanced on the pallet with an easy finish. A little pricey if you were to look at it for a value but for a super nice dinner at a fine restaurant, this is a more than solid pick.

My first time with this label. Love Celia Welch wines, so figured it would be a natural fit. Coravin pour, so not a lot of air before consumption. Nose of tobacco, menthol, blueberries and spice box. Slow ox for about 3 hours. Very smooth, well balanced and elegant. Soft tannins, long finish. Notes of plum, apricot, spice and a touch of menthol. The longer this wine was uncorcked, the more complexity one notices. It is difficult to tell the perfect drinking window without the benefit of hindsight, but as best I can tell the 2013 Corra is in the prime window to enjoy right now. Wonderful wine, definitely one of the more unique and rewarding 2013 napa cabernet out there. Great perfume from mature oak and black fruits. I also got a lot of caramel as well. Powerful wine but at the same time very subtle finish. Definitely could cellar for many more years but also unbelievable to drink now.

3 hours of slow ox in bottle, then another 4.5 hours in wide-bottomed decanter. Gave it a few swirls in decanter. Did run through a Vinturi with a filter and caught a fair amount of sediment, some of which was in moderately sized clumps. Highly recommend same treatment for future bottles. Wonderful, but young. You can get a part time job swirling the decanter to get the wine to open...about one 8 hour shift lol or you can give it a couple more years. However, when it does open, delish. FYI for those that don't know this wine, you must decant as it isn't filtered and there will be sediment.
