Tesco Finest Riesling Howard Park

Made by Howard Park / Madfish in Western Australia. A very pale gold colour. Diesel is the most distinctive aspect on the nose. Quite simple and quite rich. This is replicated on the mouth with a slightly sweet entry, but dryer subsequently. Abv is 12.5%. Doesn’t have the delicacy or minerality of the Germans, but an easier drinking kind of Riesling. Less good than I remembered. It doesn’t have any cheap nasties, but nor is it any great shakes either.
