not blind great Jura Chardonnay, typical elements from this region, wet stones, dry, saline, with just few fruit notes. Pure and precise finish. Cracking acidity. Very goof vintage in Jura. 91-92

Hint of oak spices, typical acidity and mineral.

A dinner for two (Frenchie, Covent Garden, London) : £13.50/glass. Quite a distinctive Chardonnay, leaning fresh rather than ripe, but without the crispness of a Chablis. With salsify tagliatelle, vin jaune & cheddar sauce, cured egg yolk ad black truffle. Decent match for a pretty complicated dish.

fresh and clean jura fruit. liked this. was perhaps a bit too dry for the dish that it was served with, but very good expression.
