Deerfield Ranch Chardonnay Los Chamizal Vineyard

A food wine, not a sipping wine! A medium yellow coloring when poured. The nose was somewhat muted, but gave off some Granny Smith apple and a bit a quince. Very dry and crisp but not a lot of additional flavors; However, it paired very well with a shrimp alfredo dish that included garlic, shallots and red peppers.
