Scored a bit low, because it was so old.... BUT - opened with some fruit still there on the nose; fruit cake and mulberries. The fruit faded fairly quickly, leaving lots of secondary goodness. Some baking spice, wet slate and graphite. On the palate, medium bodied, mainly plums and raisins (but not over-ripe). All in all, a real pleasure, especially for a wine that was never expected to be drunk so old.
