Cesca Vicent Priorat Lo Piot

Had a bottle at a restaurant, which was decanted upon my request. Surprisingly good right from the start. Very expressive nose, dark color, bold notes of fruit, over deep earthy tones. I took the bottle home with about a third left over which I had on night 3. Even better then, it still had that expressive nose, but all the flavors had more fully integrated. Delicious. It could certainly benefit from holding another 2 or 3 years, but approachable now.
