Flying Fox Petit Verdot

An inky plum color that isn’t opaque, but quite dark. Nose of plum, caramel, vanilla and pepper. Much the same on the palate with a medium leaning heavy mouthfeel, but not leaning much. This is no lightweight, but it is a lighter Petit Verdot. Quite good on the attack and mid-palate, but the finish nose-dives to nowhere. Limited, small grains of sediment. 12.5% alc.
