A dark opaque red wine, plum colored. It has a great nose of cranberry, black berry, bacon, cedar, with subtle undertones of cigar tobacco. A elegant, complex, and balanced wine with a soft sweet fruit, acidic middle and a rolling tannin both supple and smooth. Overall a very nice wine for a varietal that is an unusual offering in Southern Oregon.
