This took at least two hours in the decanter to come out of its shell. Quite an intense Cabernet Franc character on the nose, dark cassis and blackcurrant leaf, a touch of torrefaction, dark chocolate. Morello cherry; Full body, tannins nicely integrated now, an impression of smooth milk chocolate. Some herbal notes as well. Good acidity and structure. Perhaps an atypical style of Saumur-Champigny but nonetheless an impressive wine.

Vinos de Francia oeste (y otros franceses); 7/15/2016-8/16/2016 (Francia Oeste (Périgord, Bretaña, valle del Loira y zona de Burdeos)) : 18 meses? en barrica. En nariz sale el cognac. Agradable en boca, bastante redondo.
