Garnet-colored, with no discernible oxidation/browning around the edges. Judging by color alone, I would presume that this wine had a few years left in it. Easy drinking and light on the palate - my previous tasting notes are still valid. However, I detected a very slight effervescence (secondary fermentation) in this bottle, not observed in prior bottles. Relatively soft on the palate with reasonable acid, moderate fruit and tanins. Short finish. Mild nose, improves with time in the glass. No objectionable odors. No further improvement can be expected with further aging; drink within the next year or two. Alcohol 14.3% Total production: 124 cases
