Dark purple. Little roast meat & dark cherries, bitter chocolate on the nose, nice. Decent. Little light going in, but the oak, acid and tannins fill the palate with a wave of sweet dark & tart red pie cherries wash over you. Chocolate, the mocha kind are layered in there.
