Great for a Texan wine. This one is not quite as good ad previous vintages though. The fruit is muted and the tannins are still stiff. This prevents a quandary: wait for it to soften and you'll lose more fruit.

Color: dark cherry. Can see through a little. Nose: Dark fruits, chalky, pine/cedar notes. Very nice. Taste: Sour dark cherry flavors, lots of tannins, very nice stuff. Has at least 3 years of improvement.
