Very nice big Sangiovese blend. Nicely balanced, some grip but will work nicely with food.

Terrific Toscana. Deep and dark with lots of fruit, a touch of oak, good acidity and enough tannins to show aging potential but not too much to limit drinkability now. And on top of that, a super price from Kermit Lynch. 60% Sangiovese, 20% Ciliegiolo, 20% Syrah.

Drank with family, no formal notes. This is chewy with coarse tannin and well balanced acid. There is fruit in the profile but it's more about the black pepper, licorice, etc. right now. Not particularly elegant and definitely for lovers of robust Italian tannins. While it was enjoyable on its own I do think it would be significantly more enjoyable with food.

A deep and vivid colour. This is all fruit with notes of dark cherry and blood plum. There's some earthy savouriness and ligfht florals. It has a glossy feel with moderate gravelly tannins carrying the finish. Really delicious.

This blend of Sangiovese, Syrah and Ciliegiolo includes some fruit from the younger vines of the estate. Steel tank only (no oak). This wine exudes easy drinker but maintains structure through the mid palate. Dark fruits, a hint of salt on the palate. Bandinello is the name of a military ancestor, coined ‘fast hands’, which is relevant for this wine, it will be gone too quickly.
