Morande, Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc, Casablanca Valley

A nice pleasant wine, though not up to the standards of an elite Canadian icewine, for example (though this is a late harvest to be fair). Good viscosity to it, nice dark colour with a medium finish of apricot and maybe some slightly smoky notes that are totally appropriate. Certainly for the price this is a great effort, I would not hesitate to buy again. I don't think this wine will age beyond, say, five years. Not sure about previous …
