Post House Pinotage Red Mercury

A trip to South Africa's Coastal Region with Reni, Rainer and Bert. Day 9, Klein River Valley and Stellenbosch. Tasted at the winery, with hospitable owner and winemaker Nick Gebers. Nick’s entry-level Pinotage. Dark fruit and strawberry are joined by, wild, gamy notes, with good acidity, dry, sandpapery tannin and a drying finish. Not pleasant to drink at its youthful stage.
