Probably the best of the three Gut Oggau wines we enjoyed at a Zoom Tasting Stephanie and Eduard. The Joschuari has wonderful notes of cherries, wild strawberries and slight orange zest. The palate ist very pure and soft, compared to a conventional Blaufränkisch (a little due to the partly pressed juice without long maceration). But due to the extra freshness, I would guess this does not hinder any long development. (a decade+)

Supper at Franks (Frank's place in Matraville) : Sourly funky, slightly volatile initially over liquorice and jubey red berry fruits - mostly wild strawberry - and floral top notes with a sweet spice underpin. Proves sourly sharp on the palate, red berry fruit (again wild strawberry) that has been harvested a bit too young and unripe, stalky green notes here as well, chalky grainy tannins but with a pretty note that grows with time. Hmm.
