Primarily barnyard and magic marker on the nose and palate. Hints of jerky, leather and tobacco coming through as well. A bit harsh on the finish. After breathing awhile, the barnyard and marker notes tone down, a bit of fruit begins to show and the wine becomes smoother and easier to drink.

If you like very old world and olives and barnyard then this is your wine. Great QPR. Had one bottle but will buy more. If you only like Zinfandel and Petite Sirah then you will not like this.
