I think this has passed peak now. Still drinking ok, but I think on the downslope at this point, and will look to drink my last sooner than later. Still a dense, purplish ruby color, opaque at the center. Smells like cassis, blackberry, blueberry, strong graphite, and violet. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of similar fruits and graphite minerality. Worked fine with a delicious prime steak dinner, but drink 'em if you got 'em!

Can't say I've had much malbec in a while, but this is certainly up there with the examples in somewhat recent memory. Wonderful aromatics on the nose with leather, spice, oak, vanilla and a certain earthiness that blows off after a few minutes. On the palate it is all sharp acids and tannin with the fruit dropping out. Some tobacco and leather notes but the finish is a bit astringent. A great wine. Now how do I get more. Raspberry, blueberry, medium bodied but a hint of sweetness coming in. Integrated fine tannin, and a long finish. Drank well over 2 nights. Has more years to go but is drinking well.

I loved this wine. This was a classic Argentinian Malbec at a good price. Also drinking really well but good for a few years. On the nose, as that wet gravel nose with a brambly background. Medium bodied, hit of raspberry, integrated tannins and great structure. Long finish. Highly identifiable as an Argentinian wine - benchmark.

89 - 90 Massive wine! Dark and rich both in color and flavor profile. Black fruit, vanilla, oak. It is delicious but a bit hot on the back end. Has the tannin structure to last a good 5 - 10 more years but drinking well now. Not sure if it will really improve much with time. If you like BIG wines you should love this. For me not quite my style but well made.

This wine has developed very nicely. Vibrant rich purple to the rim with tons of dark legs upon the swirl. The nose is rich and redolent with dark brambly fruit.
