Red fruit on nose. Jammy on palate, low tannins and acid, a bit flabby. Short finish.

Big fruity nose, rich, sweet, chocolate-covered-cherry palate. Great easy drinking blend. Terrific value

The taste disappears almost instantaneously, but it has a richness that I enjoy with food.

When we pay less than $10 for a bottle of wine, most of us aren't expecting much; at worst, something inoffensive, at best, something with a little varietal character and without serious flaws. This wine ($9), doesn't make the cut. I have no idea what goes into this; the label says something about "Bordeaux varietals," but there's just no way you could make a wine like this out of Cabernet and Merlot, or even Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Nice color, …

Basic. More fruit than you typically want with a cab. Not as round/robust as I'd like.

Medium bodied. Average. Slightly too much cherry, short finish. Smooth. Much better Day 2. Won't buy again unless very very cheap.

Good easy drinking wine. Very fruit forward and it seemed to override other possible interesting notes in the wine. Buy this is you want something cheap and easily drinkable that doesn't necessarily need food.

Got this at a low price from Trader Joes. Not a fan. Fairly sweet and lacking in character.

Definitely taste the sweetness and mocha it advertises. Not bad but not great. Ok for a night by the TV

West-End Wine Tasting 1 (Portland, ME) : N: some good toast, but a bit sawdusty. P: fleshy and flabby, possibly acidified. Reminds me of Cline Zin. Not a fan of this one.

Well-spent $7. Nice character and medium bodied mouth feel with bold fruit and tobacco notes.
