Sutton Cellars Rattlesnake Rose

Color is very dark for a rose. Actually looks like a lighter Pinot. Intense nose of red fruit, particularly sour cherries. Touch of leather and meatiness. A bit of plum. Bright acidity on the palate. Tart cherries, and interesting minerality. Drinks more like a red than a rose. Long, tart and savory finish. An interesting wine, and quite enjoyable.

good stuff, great rose. drinks like a red. cherries an leather on nose, can definitely smell that temperanilo. dry, with good minerality. cloudy, unfiltered. complex. reminds of Heredia rose, but much different flavor profile. going to try to get a bottle to age.
