Surprise, this wine aged very well !! Still tasting great !! Near perfect composite oak, easily removed after a decade and a half in the bottle. Medium straw honey color with minor oxidation. Aromas of lychee fruit and honeysuckle with flavors of apricot and nectarine. Well made !!

A heavy mineral finish and white-pepper flavor notes deliver a highly polarizing wine. Flavors of vanilla, lime and oak are present, but quickly taken-over by the mineral and pepper notes. This Chardonnay may be trying to live in the Sauvignon Blanc category.
