Velocity Cellars Red Table Wine

This was good on release, and is positively smokin' now. Everything has integrated nicely, and you get dark cherries, blueberries, chocloate, and vanilla on the palate. The oak plays well without becoming overbearing. The flavors evolve across the palate and, despite the size of the flavors and nose, it retains a smooth touch. If you've still got a bottle around, treat yourself to one.

Enjoyed with friends so I didn't take notes, but this was really good. The oak was a bit large, nice Malbec fruit with some weight and richness added by the blend. Smooth, the year this has had in the bottle since I last had it has really helped it out. Low tannins and medium strength acidity, this went well with the chicken pasta we enjoyed it with. At just over 20$, I would buy it again.
