On the nose, there are notes of cassis, black plum, and very faint grass. There is a lot of ripeness here and oak as well: vanilla and nutmeg. The palate confirms the ripeness: there is high alcohol and a touch of sweetness. The acidity is medium and the body is full. Black plum, almost prunes, sweet cherry, and clove. The finish is medium with oak grain and a little red fruit. 8/18
